Walkie Talkie – Fast Cooperative Word & Colour Card Game

Walkie Talkie is a cooperative card game where players have just 30 seconds each to get rid of all the cards in their hand. The more cards you play, the higher your score. Over and out!

Each player holds six cards with a letter on one side and a colour on the other — held however they’re dealt. Place one card letter-side up and another colour-side up. When the timer starts, everyone plays simultaneously. Play a letter card by naming something that starts with that letter and matches the current colour. Play a colour card by naming something of that colour starting with the current letter. For example, “Banana!” for B next to yellow, or “Lion!” for orange next to L. No repeating words, no naming the colour itself.

Shout “Roger!” to make all players flip their cards (letters become colours and vice versa), or “Over!” to pass cards to the left. Score points for played letter cards, minus 1 for each unplayed card.
