We do our best to dispatch all orders as quickly as possible. Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a tracking number.

Please note that delivery timeframes begin after your order has been dispatched and do not include handling or processing time.

Australian Shipping

Standard Shipping

Estimated delivery from dispatch: 2 to 6 business days

Express Shipping

Estimated delivery from dispatch: 1 to 3 business days

Express Shipping refers to the delivery method used after dispatch. It does not shorten handling or processing times.

Deliveries to rural or remote areas may take a few extra business days for both Standard and Express Shipping.

Delivery Times

Delivery time refers to the time it takes for your order to travel from our warehouse to its destination after it has been dispatched.

Aussie Hobbies uses third-party postal and courier services. Delivery times are based on estimates provided by these carriers and are measured in business days, Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.

Delivery timeframes may vary during peak periods, public holidays, severe weather, courier delays, or other unforeseen circumstances.

Once an order has been dispatched, delivery times are outside the control of Aussie Hobbies. Aussie Hobbies is not responsible for delays caused by postal or courier services. However, if your order is delayed or lost in transit, please contact us and we will work with the carrier to help resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

Dispatch Delays During Sale Periods

During storewide sales, increased order volumes may cause minor dispatch delays. While most orders are shipped as quickly as possible, processing times may be longer than usual.

We appreciate your patience and understanding during these busy periods.

Oversize Items

Items larger than 1 metre in any dimension are considered oversize and cannot be sent via Australia Post.

Oversize items must be shipped by courier and may incur additional freight charges.

Because couriers usually require a signature on delivery, someone must be available at the delivery address to receive the parcel. If no one is available, a delivery slip may be left.

Oversize items cannot be delivered to PO Boxes.

Dangerous Goods

Certain products, such as rocket engines, aerosol paints, RC fuel, flammable liquids, chemicals, model engines, adhesives, thinners, and similar products, may be classified as Dangerous Goods and require special handling.

Dangerous Goods may require courier or road freight delivery and may attract additional freight charges.

Because Dangerous Goods are often transported by road freight rather than standard postal or air services, delivery may take longer than the usual estimated shipping timeframes. Delays can also occur due to carrier handling requirements, freight approvals, depot transfers, or regional delivery limitations.

A recipient must be present at the delivery address to receive Dangerous Goods items. If no one is available, a delivery slip may be left.

Dangerous Goods cannot be shipped to PO Boxes.

Please note: Rocket engines of size E or larger cannot be shipped and must be collected in-store.

Dangerous Goods Shipping Restrictions

Some Dangerous Goods items may be marked on their product pages as “Dangerous Goods – Pick Up Only” and may not be available for postage.

This may include, but is not limited to:

Aerosol spray paints
Flammable liquids and chemicals
Model engines
Certain adhesives, thinners, and related products
Rocket engines
RC fuel

If an order is placed that includes Dangerous Goods items that cannot be shipped, we may need to remove and refund those items before shipping the remaining products. If the order cannot be fulfilled, we may need to cancel and refund the order.

We appreciate your understanding, as these restrictions are due to freight, safety, and Dangerous Goods handling requirements that are outside our control.

Free Freight & Terms

Shipping promotions and free freight offers apply to eligible orders within Australia only, unless otherwise stated.

The Free Freight option applies to online orders only and may change without notice due to market conditions.

Large, heavy, bulky, oversize, and/or Dangerous Goods items are excluded from free freight offers. Aussie Hobbies reserves the right to quote freight separately for these products.

New Zealand Shipping

Aussie Hobbies currently ships internationally to New Zealand only.

Estimated delivery from dispatch:

Standard Secured Shipping: 4 to 18 business days
Express Secured Shipping: 2 to 10 business days

International delivery timeframes are estimates only and may vary due to customs processing, carrier delays, public holidays, or other factors outside our control.

New Zealand Shipping Restrictions

Due to international air freight and customs regulations, some products sold by Aussie Hobbies cannot be shipped outside Australia.

The following items cannot be sent to New Zealand under any circumstances:

Paints and paint-related chemicals, including acrylics, enamels, lacquers, thinners, removers, and spray paints
Batteries, including LiPo, Li-Ion, NiMH, and other rechargeable batteries
Gel blaster parts and accessories
Gel blaster ammunition, including gel balls
Dangerous Goods items

If an order shipping to New Zealand includes any restricted items, those items will need to be removed and refunded. If the order cannot be fulfilled, the order may need to be cancelled and refunded.

These restrictions are due to international Dangerous Goods regulations, airline safety policies, and customs requirements, which are outside our control.

Please review product descriptions carefully before placing an order. If you are unsure whether an item can be shipped to New Zealand, please contact us before placing your order and we will be happy to assist.

Order Changes

If you need to make changes to your order, please email us within 24 hours of placing your order and we will do our best to help.

If your order has already been shipped, we may not be able to make changes.

Please ensure your shipping details are correct before placing your order to avoid delays or disappointment.

Sustainable Packaging

At Aussie Hobbies, we care about reducing waste and lowering our environmental impact.

To help minimise waste, we often reuse boxes and packaging materials when sending online orders. While the box may not always look brand new, your items will always be securely packed and protected.

By reusing cartons and materials wherever possible, we are doing our bit for the environment — and we thank you for supporting us in this effort.

Terms & Conditions

A freight quote may be required for orders that exceed 10 kg, have excessive dimensions, are being delivered to rural or remote areas, contain Dangerous Goods, or have been listed with incorrect weights or dimensions.

Aussie Hobbies reserves the right to contact customers with an updated freight quote where required before dispatching an order.
