Holographic Finish for Gunpla

The special metallic pigments create a reflective holographic appearance that changes depending on the angle. Mr Hobby recommends applying the colour over a glossy base and viewing it under strong light to make the holographic effect more noticeable.

If you want to clear coat the finished colour, Mr Hobby specifically recommends GM501 Gundam Marker Clear Gloss. Other coating materials may reduce the shine or dull the holographic effect.

Important: Mr Hobby advises against using Gundam Marker paint on ABS resin parts, as the paint may penetrate the material and cause parts to become brittle or crack. Always check the model's instructions and runner markings before painting.
