Holographic Finish for Gunpla

The metallic paint creates a holographic appearance that changes depending on the angle from which it is viewed. Mr Hobby recommends applying the marker over a glossy surface and viewing it under strong light to make the rainbow holographic effect more noticeable.

For clear coating, Mr Hobby recommends GM501 Gundam Marker Clear Gloss. Other coating materials may reduce the shine and dull the holographic finish.

Important: Avoid applying Gundam Marker paint to ABS resin parts, as the paint may penetrate the material and cause parts to become brittle or crack. Check your model's instructions and runner markings before painting.
