Academy F4F-4 Wildcat Plastic Model Kit 1/72

The Grumman F4F-4 Wildcat was the primary US Navy carrier-based fighter at the outbreak of the Pacific War, holding the line against the Japanese Zero until more capable fighters arrived. Despite being outperformed in many respects, the Wildcat's rugged construction and skilled pilots gave the Allies a vital edge in the early Pacific campaign.

Academy's 1/72 scale plastic model captures the Wildcat's distinctive stocky profile with well-detailed parts and authentic US Navy markings.

What's in the box:

  • 1/72 scale styrene moulded parts
  • Authentic WWII US Navy decals
  • Detailed instruction sheet

Paint and glue are required to complete this kit. Browse our Tamiya Acrylic Paints for authentic Navy colour schemes, and pick up Revell Plastic Cement for a clean build.
